Citisoft Volunteer Month 2025: Fighting Food Insecurity in Our Communities

Throughout May, Citisoft employees across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom joined together to fight food insecurity and hunger in our communities.

In total, over 30 employees volunteered at nine organizations, lending their time to help farm, cook, package, and distribute food for those in need.

This initiative builds on Citisoft’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility efforts—including the EMEA Insights Programme and year-round volunteer activities—with our team identifying food insecurity as an area to focus our efforts.

According to the latest UN report on global food security and nutrition, 733 million people worldwide faced hunger in 2023, and 2.3 billion—more than one in four people—experienced food insecurity.

This month-long initiative was driven by Citisoft’s Volunteerism Committee, led by Derek Pratt with executive sponsorship from Tom Secaur, as part of Citisoft’s ongoing commitment to giving back. In addition to the volunteer hours contributed, Citisoft made donations to further support the vital work of these non-profits.
