This week Markit announced that they are deploying Amazon Web Services to extend their cloud capabilities. With this move, they will be able to leverage the cloud for their EDM, thinkFolio, and processing products, among others. We think this is a smart move as cloud usage continues to grow in financial services and we’ll likely be seeing more as vendors gravitate toward ways to improve performance, scalability, and time-to-market.
